Product Update Recurring Giving Giving Ministry

Most churches know they want more recurring donors. What they rarely have is a clear picture of how that number is actually trending over time, or how large the untapped opportunity really is.

We just launched a new view in GivFlow to give you exactly that.

What You Can Now See

The new Recurring Giving Growth view gives you four headline numbers at a glance: your current recurring donor count, how that compares to the same period last year, the number of consistent donors who do not yet have a recurring gift set up, and your overall recurring rate.

Below those numbers, a growth chart plots your recurring donor count across the last 12 complete months plus a current 60-day snapshot, so you can see the trajectory of your recurring base over time — not just where it stands today.

Recurring Giving Growth

The “Non-Recurring Consistent Donors” number is just as important as the recurring count itself. These are people who are already giving regularly — they just have not automated it yet. That number represents your most immediate opportunity for growth. Converting even a fraction of those donors to recurring giving can have a meaningful impact on your ministry’s financial health.

Why Recurring Giving Is Worth Tracking

Recurring donors give 30 to 60 percent more throughout the year than manual givers, and they make four times as many donations. The compounding effect of a growing recurring base is one of the most powerful levers a church has for building long-term financial stability.

Seasonal downtrends — the summer slump, holiday travel, school breaks — hit manual givers hard. Recurring donors largely insulate your ministry from those fluctuations. Watching your recurring rate climb over time is one of the clearest signals that your giving ministry is getting healthier.

Turning the Opportunity Into Action

If you see a large number of non-recurring consistent donors in your dashboard, GivFlow can help you act on it. The Convert Active Non-Recurring to Recurring automation flow automatically invites those donors to set up a recurring gift at exactly the right moment in their giving journey. You can enable it directly from the Recurring Giving Growth view.

Log in to GivFlow and check your recurring rate today. If the opportunity number is larger than you expected, it probably is, and it is closer to being realized than you think.
